Your right to use the Site is not transferable. Any password or right given to you to obtain information or documents is not transferable

The information and services may contain bugs, errors, problems or other limitations. We and our affiliated parties have no liability whatsoever for your use of any information or service. In particular, but not as a limitation thereof, we and our affiliated parties are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages (including damages for loss of business, loss of profits, litigation, or the like), whether based on breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Cancellation policy of a booking will be applicable once payment in part or full has been made to confirm the booking.

Cancellation of Bookings is subject to the Booking Terms and Conditions mentioned in the quote and invoice for a particular booking with specific dates at specific rates applicable at the time of booking process, specific accommodation count, accommodation category, member count, check-in date, check-in time, check-out date, check-out time.

Cancellation of booking as per cancellation policy applicable as per Booking Terms and Conditions mentioned in the booking quote and invoice will result in any one of the below scenarios

Refund of payment made in part or full to confirm the booking as per Booking Terms and Conditions mentioned in the quote or invoice.

Forfeiture of the payment made in part or full to confirm the booking as per Booking Terms and Conditions mentioned in the quote or invoice.

On special consideration The Serenade Kumaon may agree to offer Credit Note worth part or whole of the advance amount paid with new applicability and validity terms of credit note that may be different to the booking terms and conditions of the cancelled booking.

In case the payment was made using a bank account, then refund will be done to the same bank account used to make the payment.

In case the payment was made through any other mode, then refund will be done to the bank account owned by the same person who made the payment.

Request of refund to any person other than the payer or to any account not belonging to the payer will not be entertained.

In case payment has been done in part through various bank accounts by the payer or various bank accounts of a group of payers, refund amount will be limited to the amount received from a particular bank account or to the amount received from a particular payer belonging to a group. Therefore, The Serenade Kumaon urges its clientele to prefer payment of booking amount, in part or full, primarily through a bank account and consider other modes of payments such as UPI, Credit Card etc as secondary options. This helps The Serenade Kumaon to ensure that refunds, if applicable, are processed back to the same bank accounts within 7 working days.

Refunds, if applicable, cannot be processed immediately on site or through other payment modes.

Refunds, if applicable, cannot be processed to any non-Indian bank accounts or to accounts of other financial tools such as credit card, debit card, loan accounts, investment accounts or any other accounts of other nature.

For Indian nationals, refunds will be made directly to the Bank Account as per details provided by the client at the time of cancellation of booking. The Serenade Kumaon reserves rights to process the refund amount to a particular bank account within 7 working days from the date of receipt of written cancellation request. However, the length of time required for the funds to be credited to your account is determined by your financial institution. Please check with your financial institution on their specific rules regarding returned or refunded transactions.

Refund cannot be done in case of foreign nationals who do not have a bank account in India or account governed by the Reserve Bank of India. In such cases, The Serenade Kumaon will offer credit note of amount equivalent to approved refund amount that the foreign nationals can use or can transfer the credit note to anyone to be utilized in the future. Pls note that utilization of credit note cannot be done on special days or weekends or bridge holidays (maximum upto 5 days falling between two consecutive holidays). Clientele is required to check the validity of credit note while confirming the booking to avoid any issues related to the total balance payable amount required to confirm the booking.
