THE PROPERTY
The Serenade Kumaon is an marquee project situated in Almora valley which serves as a main hub connecting all regions of Kumaon Uttarakhand. The property is located on the slopes of Katarmal village near the banks of Kosi river overlooking the popular Kasar Devi Hill near Almora, Uttarakhand. We endeavour to offer a tailored experience of Kumaoni culture, regional flora & fauna, adventure activities, historic & religious tours for guests from around the globe wanting to explore the Kumaon region while unwinding & rejuvenating in our luxurious Geodesic domes spaced generously across our 1.125 hectares of property which also houses a gourmet fine dine restaurant offering bespoke culinary experiences.
THE GEODESICS
The architectural design choice of Geodesic domes and their unique placement is a testimony to occupy minimum space in the ecosystem of the property while maximizing the expanse of space available in each dome for a spacious experience. This has been achieved by suspending the domes high up above the ground level offering an elevated picturesque view of the property and surroundings. The natural water streams traversing through the property and nurturing the local flora continue their journey unhindered underneath the domes. Every geodesic dome cottage has an integrated glass facade offering an expansive view of the surrounding nature while you are cocooned in world class luxuries. Each dome cottage consists of a primary bedroom dome with master bed and seating lounge overlooking the glass facade and a secondary dome that houses modern bathroom amenities such as hot water jacuzzi & a multi-point shower system. A dedicated outdoor deck for each dome offers a spacious lounging area to bask under the warm sun in the daytime and witness the transformation of dusky skies and changing hues of snowcapped mountain peaks over distant ranges.

Cuisines are a testimonial to the symbiotic relationship we have with nature. The wisdom of this relationship has been encapsulated inside the cultures of respective regions and passed down through generations. The rustic yet luxurious restaurant architecture boasts tall see through glass panes offering majestic views of the surroundings mountains and Kosi river with a collective seating capacity for approximately 55 guests spread over various zones curated for different experiences - be it a casual retreat or luxurious fine-dine setup for individuals, small as well as large groups. The meticulously curated menu offers our in-house as well as walk-in guests a unique spectrum of gourmet preparations encompassing the Indian, Continental and local cuisines that will appeal to your mind & soul.
THE RECREATION
The yoga and meditation zone is a carefully crafted space overlooking the adjacent protected zone that is home to numerous bird species and leopards. The connect with nature is truly intimate and awe inspiring. Beneath the meditation zone is our dedicated leopard trail for our in-house guests wanting to watch the majestic leopards of Kumaon bask in the sun. A jaw dropping experience to see these wild beasts carry on with their day in perfect harmony of the region. The bonfire corner is a perfect space for a private gathering of friends and family to exchange stories and wisdom around the bonfire, just like our ancestors did in ancient times.
